(mostly from Champoux and Weinbau):  Good bright red with ruby highlights.  Sexy aromas of dark raspberry, tobacco, licorice and menthol.  Sweet and suave, with noteworthy fruit intensity and inner-mouth energy.  Finishes with fine, dusty tannins and very good lift.  A strong vintage for this basic cabernet release.
