(malo in French oak and then aged for 15 months in French oak barriques, roughly 25% of them new): Deep ruby. Intense, oak-spiced aromas of cherry and blackcurrant, cola and vanilla, with a subtle tobacco accent. Lush and expansive, offering round dark berry flavors that become spicier with air. Deep and rich, finishing with very good energy and persistence.
