Member Notes
Distinctive

I found this Cotes du Rhone to have way more floral and spice notes than many others in the category. Ripe, fresh fruit as well. Well balanced and persistent.
Consistently pleasant

My everyday red- same every year. Can benefit from some aging.
REALLY RIPE RHONE

It's becoming more difficult to leave this wine alone in the cellar. It is destined to get better and better as a few more years go by on this '09 vintage. But it's tasty now (properly aired) and Rhones are such a favorite of ours. We decant for at least an hour, letting the structure emerge beautifully.
Still a little Young

Since I purchased a case, I will be able to lay it down for a couple of years. Although good now, it should continue to improve over the next few years.
Keeps Getting Better

Was not overly impressed at first taste, but wine just kept getting better, the more we drank, the better we liked it.

Thin and on the lean side. OK for a quaffer, but fairly simple.
Poor Wine

No body, very little taste, quick finish
