88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2011

($21; a blend of pinot grigio and chardonnay; 5.3 g/l total acidity) Pale straw-green. Fresh citrus, floral and herbal aromas are complemented by hints of yellow apple and banana. Silky on entry, then minerally, brisk and firm in the middle, but with a slightly chunky quality to the orchard fruit flavors. Finishes with good length, but I find this to be considerably better on the nose today. Made from certified biodynamically grown fruit from vines that range from 7 to 25 years old.
