Light, bright yellow.  Pear and yellow plum aromas are lifted by a touch of lemon zest.  A fleshy, dry midweight that offers plump orchard fruit flavors accented by notes of bitter herbs and dried citrus fruits.  Finishes with a bit of heat and good cling.  This variety, a specialty of Spain's Extramadura region, is also known as pardillo.
