($35) Dark yellow. Pungent aromas of white stone fruit, wax and flowers. A laser-like freshness nicely lifts the white peach and green apple flavors. This excellent, very well-balanced pinot bianco actually reminds you of the variety (rather than chardonnay, as is too often the case in Italy); a little more concentration and I would have awarded it an outstanding score, but as it is, I love this wine's purity.
