Opaque purple.  Explosive aromas of dark berry preserves, vanilla, mocha and licorice, with intense spice and cracked pepper nuances adding vivacity.  Lush, palate-coating blackberry and blueberry flavors show very good intensity and a seamless quality.  Clings with very good intensity, leaving sweet dark berry compote notes behind.  As rich as this shiraz may be I find plenty of energy.
