(84% tempranillo and 16% syrah):  Glass-staining ruby.  Smoky dark berry and cherry compote aromas are deepened by cocoa and espresso nuances; a floral element come up with air, along with a hint of Indian spices.  Bright cassis and cherry flavors are focused, deep and lively.  Nicely concentrated and complex wine with very good finishing clarity and spicy thrust.  This has the balance to age but drinks quite well right now.
