too sweet and syrupy

This high octane (16%) alcohol bomb has little tannins and a too over top to underlying sweetness. While the high alcohol is hidden this wine tasted almost syrupy. I brought it along with other wines for a family holiday dinner and at the end there was almost 3/4ths left.
