(made from fruit that is air-dried for up to two months; 15% alcohol):  Inky purple.  Vibrant, high-pitched blackberry and smoky mineral aromas, with exotic floral and spice notes adding complexity.  Very ripe but energetic as well.  Silky and sweet on entry, then deeply concentrated, sweet and seamless in the middle, offering dense, very intense cherry and cassis flavors.  Expands with aeration and finishes with broad, suave tannins and outstanding length.  I find this utterly delicious right now but have no doubt that it will reward another decade of patience.
