(a blend of chardonnay, viognier and petit manseng) Medium-dark straw-yellow. Oak-dominated nose hints at tangerine and ripe pear, but the caramel and vanilla notes are currently up front. Rich, suave and dense, with pear and ripe citrus flavors framed by smoky vanilla. The long finish features a return of the caramel note. (Sussex Wine Merchants, Moorestown, NJ)
