($15) Amber-tinged yellow. Mercifully less oaky on the nose than some previous vintages: a caramel nuance is present, but so are aromas of flowers, banana, minerals and clove. Rich, long and fat on the finish, which features a pretty mineral return. A very solidly made oaked chardonnay; in fact, this is the best, and most balanced, Linticlarus chardonnay I recall tasting in quite some time.
