($46) Bright straw-yellow. Oaky elements of butter, clove, caramel and cinnamon camouflage aromas of pineapple and banana. Rich and full on the palate, with harmonious acidity framing the ripe fruit flavors. Showing more texture than flavor today, though there is less obvious oak on the palate than on the nose. The long, fresh finish hints at peanut butter. Should the oak resolve in time, this will merit an outstanding rating, but I'm not convinced yet.
