($25) Medium straw-yellow with gold highlights. Pear, yellow apple and almond on the deep, captivating nose. Juicy apple and almond flavors are complemented by a mineral aspect. Crisp but not hard, with an almost piercing quality to its long, minerally finish. One of the best friulanos of 2010, which was not an easy vintage for this variety owing to plenty of rain at the end of the growing season, something that the thin-skinned friulano does not appreciate.
