About Jean Foillard
In 1980, Jean Foillard took over his father’s estate winery in Villié-Morgon, expanding and overhauling operations. Today, Foillard possesses 14 hectares of some of the finest sites in Morgon: the sandy Corcelette parcel and a large chunk of the renowned, granitic Cote de Py.

Bright ruby-red. Intensely perfumed bouquet displays raspberry preserves, cherry pit, violet and minerals, with a smoky overtone. Juicy, deeply pitched red and dark berry flavors are brightened by a spicy quality that gains strength with air. Fine-grained tannins add shape and grip to the very long, sappy, floral finish.
