Good deep red-ruby.  Wilder on the nose than the Savigny, with black cherry and smoke aromas complicated by hints of dark chocolate and leather.  Juicy and quite tight in the mouth, with the wine's acidity a bit dominant in the early going.  Cherry and mineral flavors emerge with air.  Finishes distinctly saline and classically dry.
