From a hamlet called "Le Vissoux" in the southern Beaujolais commune of Saint Verand, Pierre-Marie and Martine Chermette make some of the most natural and wild Beaujolais there is- eschewing chaptalization, commercial yeasts or filtration.

Vivid purple. An explosively aromatic nose displays cassis, cherry compote, violet and tobacco, along with mounting florality. Intense and densely packed, with penetrating dark berry, bitter chocolate, mineral and floral flavors. This structured, linear Beaujolais smoothly blends heft and energy, finishing gently tannic and very long.
