Origin: France
Region: Burgundy

Ruby-red. Vibrant aromas of blackberry, violet, spices and licorice. Supple, sweet and rather open-knit following the Pernand-Vergelesses, but with peppery acidity giving lift to the middle palate without introducing any edges. Finishes long and primary, with as much acidity as tannins providing underlying structure. Two-thirds of these vines are 80 years old.
