Deep ruby.  Singed plum, blackcurrant, tobacco and licorice on the nose.  Pliant, sweet and concentrated, with ripe plum and bitter cherry flavors nicely lifted by tangy acidity and complicated by hints of chewing tobacco and espresso.  Tannins build with air, adding grip and chewiness to the finish. This seems younger than it is.
