Deep ruby.  Powerful dark fruit aromas are complemented by notes of licorice, dark chocolate and candied violet.  Ripe and fleshy, like an '09, yielding intense cassis and bitter cherry flavors and a suave floral nuance.  Finishes chewy and long, with excellent clarity and soft tannins.
