Deep ruby. Intense, oak-spiced aromas of cherry-vanilla, blueberry, pipe tobacco and mocha. Suave, palate-coating dark fruit flavors show very good concentration, especially for this difficult vintage, and pick up smokiness and floral nuances with aeration.
