Youthful purple.  Primary, pungent aromas of black and blue fruits, vanilla, fresh flowers and licorice, with slow-mounting spiciness.  Broad, palate-coating cassis and boysenberry flavors are nicely framed and lifted by tangy acidity.  Showing very well right now but has the depth to age.  (JR)
