89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2012

(mostly from Champoux and Weinbau):  Bright red-ruby.  Nose dominated by very ripe currant.  Tactile and ripe, in a distinctly fruity style, with intense redcurrant flavor complicated by a note of cocoa powder.  Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and good length.  Not quite the definition for 90 points but very easy to drink.
