Good bright ruby.  Knockout nose combines black raspberry, cocoa powder, game and leather, with a complementary oaky element.  Silky and supple on entry, then smooth and seamless in the middle, with lovely harmonious acidity giving shape and energy to this very sexy wine.  Finishes very long and brisk, with smooth tannins.  From 15-year-old vines cropped at two tons per acre.
