The story of Domaine Dujac began with the ambition of Jacques Seysses, the son of a biscuit manufacturer. Jacques never wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, however; his sights were set on making wine.

(this also finished its malo on the late side): Good bright red. Primary but very ripe aromas of raspberry, flowers, graphite and meat. Juicy and spicy but a bit lean and youthfully imploded, with brisk acidity currently keeping the fresh fruit flavors under wraps. Finishes firmly tannic and persistent. I like this wine's high tones but would not touch a bottle for at least six or seven years.
