Youthful purple.  Intensely perfumed aromas of cherry-vanilla and blackberry brightened by zesty minerality and a subtle cola quality.  Lively dark fruits on the palate, with cola and licorice nuances emerging with air.  A hefty but energetic shiraz, finishing with excellent persistence and a late-arriving jolt of peppery spices.
