90 Points | International Wine Cellar , December 2009
Bright, dark red. Aromas of sour cherry, licorice, minerals, menthol and candied violet. Juicy, spicy and vibrant; at once cool and ripe, displaying lovely floral lift and energy. With its youthfully medicinal character and fine-grained tannins, this lively barbera should be very flexible at the dinner table.

Awesome with Osso Bucco!

I just recieved a case of this today and made Osso Bucco for dinner. Unbelievable!
I am giving this wine a personal score of 97 points. It's very dark in color, al;most black, and has an immediate reaction in the mouth of plum, cherry, and very little tannin. This wine is ready to drink right now. I'm going to order another case to put away. But I'm drinking this case now!
A little disapointing

I like Barbera, usually let it age for several years before drinking it. I found this wine a little lighter bodied than I had hoped. It's certainly ready to drink, though.
Disjointed

Completely disjointed, needed to be really cool to showcase the nose, which was off and on. Palate was a thin potpourri of fruit and wood. Off-balance and racy acidity, this was an odd finish. Give this some serious time or skip it. 84/B-
