Winemaker Bob Bertheau manages not one, but two seperate wineries dedicated to the production of white and red wines respectively.
89(+?) Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2011
Red-ruby. Cassis, licorice and chocolate mint on the nose; not quite as broad or expressive as the Cold Creek example. In a tighter, cooler style on the palate, showing less detail and nuance today. A bit more chunky and less refined too, but there's no shortage of material here. Finishes with dusty tannins that will require time in bottle to soften.
