About Beckmen Vineyards
When winemaker Steve Beckmen returned from Italy in 1997, he was convinced that his family's recently purchased hillside in Santa Barbara County would be perfect for growing Rhône varietals. His father Tom was skeptical, but since then, Purisima Mountain Vineyard has established itself as one of the finest sources of Syrah and Grenache in the Central Coast.

(46% marsanne, 38% roussanne and 16% grenache blanc): Bright gold. Tangerine and peach on the nose, with notes of white pepper and honeysuckle adding lift. Broad and pliant, offering juicy pit fruit flavors and a hint of mango. Lots of fruit here. Finishes smooth and sappy, with lingering spiciness and a touch of bitter citrus zest.
