(a blend of 55% merlot, 34% cabernet sauvignon, 9% cab franc and 2% petit verdot):  Bright full ruby.  Perfumed nose combines black cherry, plum, cinnamon, mocha, fennel and exotic spices.  Suave, pliant and sweet, with a distinctly layered texture to the expressive flavors of blueberry, blackberry and black pepper.  Finishes with substantial, broad tannins, a sweet note of dark chocolate and superb persistence.  A great vintage for this bottling, which includes some of the Harrison Hill fruit.
