Opaque ruby.  Powerful smoke- and spice-accented aromas of black and blue fruits and licorice, with a pipe tobacco note emerging in the glass.  Dense and sappy, offering powerful dark fruit compote flavors and an energizing spicy nuance.  Supple tannins come up with air and add shape to the sweet, persistent finish.
