Glass-staining purple.  Black and blue fruits on the nose and palate, with notes of bitter chocolate and licorice adding complexity.  Vibrant and refreshingly brisk on the finish, which leaves notes of apricot pit and violet behind.  This seamless wine is complex enough to enjoy right now.
