92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2011

(100% whole clusters used for this wine; no new oak):  Bright ruby-red.  Fresh red berries and potpourri on the nose, with complicating notes of star anise and white pepper.  Juicy, sweet and expansive, with a seamless texture and excellent clarity to its strawberry and raspberry preserve flavors.  Vibrant and focused on the finish, which lingers with impressive tenacity and persistence.
