(made from 100% pinot noir):  Bright yellow.  An assertively perfumed bouquet evokes pear, yellow plum, anise, pungent flowers and candied ginger, with a leesy nuance adding complexity.  Sappy and focused, offering youthfully taut orchard fruit flavors and notes of redcurrant and honeysuckle.  Finishes with firm grip and excellent clarity, echoing the anise and floral notes.  Impressive Champagne but this is still very young.  I'd give it at least another five years of age.
