Bright ruby.  Aromas of cherry, licorice and mocha, with a hint of smoky oak.  Broad and gripping, with strong dark fruit flavors complicated by smoke, licorice and bitter chocolate.  Focused and firm on the long, gripping finish.  Give this some decanter time.
