Good full deep red.  Reticent but pure nose offers notes of dark raspberry, tobacco, licorice and flowers.  Plump and ripe on the palate, with a lovely sweetness and a slightly high-toned quality giving it early appeal.  Finishes with firm but ripe tannins, a classic dryness and very good energy and length.
