Good medium red.  Higher-pitched on the nose than the 2009 version, offering a hint of smoked meat and a floral topnote.  Bright and young but without quite the texture or chewiness of the 2009.  Nicely rich, but with a bit less buffering material than the 2009 has, the tongue-dusting tannins are more apparent today.
