(from vines in the lower section of the Martinenga slope; made in concrete and stainless steel):  Medium red.  Perfumed, delicate aromas of sour cherry, redcurrant, licorice, menthol, white pepper and spices.  The palate offers lovely sweetness and intensity, with bright, integrated acidity giving cut to the red fruit and spice flavors.  Finishes with fine tannins and nice length.  This received a cool vinification, with very short skin contact.
