(aged in used barriques and larger casks for 14 months):  Cherry, cinnamon and smoke on the rather oaky nose.  Juicy, pliant and perfumed, with good grip to the raspberry and spice flavors.  Offers an attractive light touch for Asti barbera.  Just a hint of old barrel on the aftertaste.
