(from south-facing 40-year-old vines in Terlo; the bottling that's labeled Terlo is from southeast-facing vines 20 to 25 years of age.):  Bright red-ruby.  Deep, very ripe aromas of black cherry and minerals.  Very rich, sweet and creamy, but with lovely mineral lift to the medicinal black cherry and spice flavors.  Finishes long and vibrant, with big, building tannins and a powerful impression of structure.
