Bright, hazy red.  A sexy, complex bouquet offers up scents of fresh red berries, incense, potpourri and star anise.  Lively, sharply focused and pure, with sappy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and suave spicecake and rose pastille accents.  Silky tannins come on late and add grip to a long, sweet and penetrating finish.  I'd have guessed that this elegant pinot was a 2010 and not a wine from a warm Willamette vintage like '09.
