(62% cabernet sauvignon, 19% merlot, 15% cabernet franc and 4% petit verdot):  Inky ruby.  An exotic perfume presents candied dark berries, incense, woodsmoke and vanilla, with a subtle tobacco nuance in the background.  Fleshy and open-knit, offering sweet blackcurrant and cherry-vanilla flavors and a bracing kick of black pepper.  Closes sweet and long, with supple tannins and an echo of vanilla.  Showing extremely well now but this fleshy wine has the depth to age.
