Ruby-red.  Spicy blackberry and cherry on the nose, with complicating licorice and Indian spice qualities.  A whiff of vanilla adds depth to the sweet dark berry flavors, with silky tannins adding finishing grip.  In a rich style for pinot but there's lots of attractive fruit here.
