Deep ruby.  High-pitched aromas of black raspberry, potpourri and musky herbs.  Juicy, precise red berry preserve flavors possess very good depth but also show an elegant quality, with a zesty mineral spine adding lift.  A spicecake nuance comes up on the long, sappy, gently tannic finish, with the floral note repeating.
