(half grenache blanc, with clairette, bourboulenc and viognier):  Light gold.  Aromas of fresh pear ("that's the character of grenache blanc," said Sabon), peach and white flowers.  Bright and energetic on the palate, offering nervy orchard fruit and lemon flavors with a refreshingly bitter quality.  Finishes dry and bright, with a persistent pear note.
