(60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay, from a single vineyard of old vines):  Bright orange-pink.  Explosively perfumed scents of fresh red berries, vanilla, potpourri and smoky minerals, with an exotic veneer of Asian spices.  Creamy and broad but focused, offering intense raspberry and cherry flavors lifted and sharpened by a blood orange nuance.  The spice, floral and vanilla notes linger with impressive tenacity.
