(70% roussanne and 30% bourboulenc):  Bright yellow.  Powerfully scented nose displays ripe pear, fig and lemon zest aromas, along with a hint of candied ginger.  Fleshy orchard fruit and citrus pith flavors pack solid punch but are strikingly fresh, with strong mineral bite on the back end.  Gains heft and sweetness on the long, sappy, sharply focused finish.
