Deep ruby.  Singed plum, minerals, licorice and spices on the slightly wild nose.  Dense, sweet and lush, with creamy flavors of bitter cherry, blueberry and herbs.  A muscular but lively wine that shows good flavor definition on the long, chewy finish.
