90-92 Points | International Wine Cellar , January 2012

(70% grenache and 30% syrah):  Deep ruby.  Complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe cherry and dark berries, with notes of licorice and espresso adding depth and a serious mien.  Lush and creamy, but with very good heft to its bitter cherry and cassis flavors.  Finishes with serious punch and length, the cassis note repeating.  This broad-shouldered wine looks to be an ager.
