(30% new oak):  Full ruby-red.  Crushed blackberry, licorice and menthol on the nose.  Dense and juicy, with an urgent quality to the vibrant flavors of black fruits, licorice and violet; excellent harmonious acidity and supporting minerality here.  The resounding finish shows chocolatey tannins and very good vinosity and length.
